Home Ground Advantage

Holden’s Home Ground Advantage grant program helps grassroots sport by making funds available to assist clubs in upgrading their facilities.

  • You can apply for grants of up to $250,000 (the average value awarded is $12,500)
  • Enter your own video clip to support your application
  • Applications for the Winter round open June 1st
  • Applications for the Summer round open November 1st

Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF)

The Queensland Government’s Gambling Community Benefit Fund is Queensland’s largest one-off grants program, distributing approximately $54 million per year to Queensland communities.  The fund returns to the community a portion of state revenue raised through gambling taxes.

  • Geographical area – whole of Queensland
  • Available funding – grants from $500 to $35,000
  • Applications close – 31st May 2018

Get Playing Places and Spaces

Get Playing Places and Spaces provides funding for infrastructure development so that more Queenslanders can be involved in sport and active recreation.

  • Eligible organisations can apply for up to $150,000 (GST exclusive)
  • Organisations will need to contribute a minimum of 20 per cent to the total eligible project costs
  • Applications are to be submitted online
  • Round 7 applications open on 2 July 2018
  • Applications close on 31 August 2018

Community Building Partnership

The NSW Government Community Building Partnership program supports community infrastructure projects that:

  • promote community participation, inclusion and cohesion
  • deliver positive social, environmental, and recreational outcomes

Not-for-profits and local councils in New South Wales are eligible to apply for grants for construction and repair of community infrastructure.

Key dates

  • Applications open 7th May 2018
  • Applications close 15th June 2018
